Mental Health Care
Elevated

Elevate Your Mind was created from a simple but powerful observation: Mental health care can be clinically excellent, and still feel misaligned. Across the field, we saw the same pattern repeated. Productivity prioritized over presence. Efficiency over experience. Care is delivered in environments that overstimulate the nervous system rather than regulate it.

We believe the environment is not an accessory to treatment; it is foundational. The space you enter. The energy you feel. The tone of the interaction. The pace of the conversation. The clarity of the structure. All of it communicates safety, or the absence of it.

When the nervous system feels safe, growth becomes possible.

From Vision to Reality

Elevate Your Mind began as a conversation about alignment.

We believe mental health care can be structured, disciplined, and clinically rigorous while also being regulated, intentional, and deeply human.

This is a collective where excellence isn’t sacrificed for experience, and experience isn’t sacrificed for efficiency.

Erin Meyer is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor driven by a clear intention: to redefine what accessible, high-quality mental health care can feel like. Before launching her own practice, Erin worked in Baltimore City, meeting clients in their homes and community settings. That experience gave her firsthand insight into what it truly takes to move people out of survival mode.

By stepping into people’s real environments and meeting them where they were, she saw how safety, stability, and physical surroundings shape the nervous system, and ultimately, the trajectory of healing.

Erin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University, followed by a Master’s in Professional Studies from Towson. She went on to complete her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Johns Hopkins University, where she later earned a post-Master’s certificate in Clinical Counseling. She completed her clinical internship at Harbel Community Organization, working with underserved populations in Baltimore.

Her clinical background includes trauma and substance use treatment, with a strong emphasis on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the belief that foundational safety and stability must be addressed before higher-level growth can occur. She also holds a Master’s degree in Ayurveda & Integrative Medicine from Maharishi International University, expanding her work into nervous system regulation and mind-body integration.

In 2019, Erin built Mindful Healing Works from the ground up, creating a model designed to elevate the standard of insurance-based mental health care while prioritizing environment, structure, and intentional experience.

Across all of her work, Erin focuses on designing systems that move people from survival into stability, and from stability into growth.
