FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Elevate Your Mind is an out-of-network practice, which means we do not bill insurance plans directly. You pay the practice for your visit, and you receive a detailed superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, it may reimburse part of what you paid.

  • Children, adolescents and adults. We offer Therapy and Psychiatry.

  • We are at 4833 Bethesda Avenue, Suite 300, Bethesda, Maryland 20814, on Bethesda Row. There is a parking garage right next to the building, and street parking is available nearby.

  • Call us at (301) 244-0665, or send an inquiry through our Connect With Us page. The Client Concierge team will take it from there.

  • The Client Concierge team is available Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, and every call during those hours is returned the same day. Anything received after hours is answered first thing the next morning. Evening appointments are available with select clinicians, in-office or by telehealth.

  • You complete your paperwork online before you arrive. Payment is taken in full when you book. It holds the time reserved for you with your clinician.

  • Cancel or reschedule with at least 72 hours' notice and what you paid is credited to your next appointment. Inside 72 hours, that payment is not refunded or credited, because the time was held for you and cannot be filled.

  • Yes. Every client has the right to a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before their first visit. See our Good Faith Estimate notice for details.

  • A superbill is an itemized receipt of your visit. It lists your provider, the date and type of service, and the codes your insurance company needs. You send it to your plan, and if your plan has out-of-network benefits, they may reimburse part of the cost. Your plan decides how much to reimburse.

  • Mental health care should happen somewhere you want to be. Taking care of your mind is something you are choosing to do for yourself, so we built an experience around it: The Client Concierge, The Cafe, The MindSpa and The Reset Studio, all under one roof with our Clinical Experts.

  • Elevate Your Mind is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
